1. Attempted Robbery (1630) 200 Block of East Weber Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 44, was working at a business in the area when the suspect attempted to steal merchandise. When the victim confronted the suspect, he assaulted the victim and fled the business. SUSPECT: White male adult.
2. Resisting Arrest (2134) 1100 Block of South Pilgrim Street, Park District Officers responded to a report of a disturbance and located the suspect hiding in a residence. The suspect was taken into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Fernando Mendoza, 27, for violation of a restraining order and resisting arrest.
3. Robbery (0330) 1200 Block of East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Park District
The victim was working in the area when the suspects approached, and one of them claimed to have a firearm. The suspects fled with property in a silver vehicle. SUSPECTS: Hispanic male adult and Hispanic female adult.
