Wilmington Police are requesting the assistance of the public in connection with a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian.
On November 26 at approximately 9:53 p.m., police were dispatched to the unit block of South Market Street - at South Market Street and Rosa Parks Drive - in reference to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. Officers located a 45-year-old male who had been struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Further investigation has determined that the striking vehicle appears to be a green two-door Toyota, possibly a Solaro or Camry with a model year in the late 1990s or early 2000s.
