Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Captures Suspicious “Character” Prior to Angels Camp Parade
On 12-17-2022 Sergeant Bridges and Corporal Seawell were driving the Calaveras County Rescue Vehicle (Bear Cat) to the Angels Camp Parade when they spotted a suspicious “character” near the north end of Angels Camp.  The two deputies had been given a “be on the lookout flyer” and immediately recognized him by his green, pot-bellied, furry, pear-shaped, snub-nosed creature and a cat-like face.
Upon contact, they discovered him to be as cuddly as a cactus, charming as an eel and a particularly vile one.  The flyer specifically stated not to touch him with a 39 ½ foot pole however, the deputies were concerned that this “character” posed an imminent threat to the holiday season.
The character was positively identified as the GRINCH and detained for questioning.
Happy Holidays from the member of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office.
