Probationer Arrested for Violating the Terms of His Probation When Deputies Find Him in Possession of Ammunition
DATE/TIME: Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at approximately 9:12 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 30305(A)(1)- Felon in Possession of Unlawful Ammunition
LOCATION: 6900 Block of Shaniko Trail, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Robert Padilla, 20-Years-Old, Resident of Big River, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at approximately 9:12 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department came in contact with Robert Padilla during a probation check, near the 6900 block of Shaniko Trail in Big River.
During the probation check, Padilla was found to be in violation of PC 30305(A)(1)- Felon in Possession of Unlawful Ammunition. Padilla is a convicted felon and is prohibited from owning or possessing ammunition. Padilla was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Padilla remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with no bail, awaiting a court hearing.
