Beachview Drive North & Shell Rd. Temporary Road Closures
On Sunday, January 15, from 6:30 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m., the Jekyll Island Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K will take place. Beachview Drive North, beginning at the Jekyll Island Convention Center, Shell Rd, and Southbound lanes on Riverview Dr. North of Baker Rd will experience temporary road closures during this time. Temporary traffic delays may be experienced along Captain Wylly Rd.
Motorists should take caution while driving around the island and watch for runners.
