The City of Ballinger in preparation for a need to protect the livelihood of the citizens of Runnels County, has enacted a severe weather protocol.
The City of Ballinger is prepared for the temporary housing and recovery to individuals and families both resident and transient to the City of Ballinger.

If you or someone you know of is facing undue hardship in the form of  warming needs during this cold weather event, predicted for 12-21-2022 to 12-24-2022, please do not hesitate to contact the City of Ballinger through our dispatchers by calling 325-365-3591.  A city representative of member of local law enforcement may respond to assist you at such time, to receive comfort and care, when necessary, in the form of emergency rations, or temporary relocation to a warming center.The City of Ballinger maintains the Community Center located at the intersection of Crosson Avenue, and 2nd Street for incidents as such, in cooperation with local governments of Miles and Winters, as well as the County administrative government serving Runnels County.
