Crime Blotter for the Week of December 11 – December 17, 2022

The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of December 11, 2022 – December 17, 2022.

  • Robbery:
Duarte Road / Mountain Avenue. The victim was at the location, when he heard someone from behind him whistle to get his attention. The victim turned around and observed two male Hispanic males, one described as having a crooked eye, average height, and thin build and the second as heavy set wearing all black clothing and having a “D” tattoo on his right forearm. The suspect with a crooked eye brandished a black revolver from his front pants pocket and demanded the victim give him his jewelry. The victim fearing for his life removed his jewelry. Both suspects fled north on Mountain and out of view. No surveillance available. Loss was approximately $600.
 
  • Burglary (Commercial):
1450 Mountain Avenue (Harbor Freight). Suspects unknown a male black adult 20-30 years old, 6’ 02”, 240 lbs, wearing a black cloth face mask, a gray jacket, and gray pants and a male white adult 20-30 years old 6’00 220 lbs., wearing a black face mask, white hooded jacket and black pants entered the location and walked directly to the generator isle. The suspects selected three generators and placed them onto a pushcart. The suspects exited through the emergency exit without attempting to purchase the items. The suspect entered a gray 2017 Jeep Compass with a license plate of 8XVY269 registered in Pomona. Loss was approximately $2,800. Surveillance video available.
 
December 17, 2022
  • Grand Theft:
2129 Broach Avenue. Suspect(s) unknown stole the catalytic converter to the victims parked vehicle a blue 2006 Honda Accord. Loss was approximately $1,000. No surveillance video available.
