* WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Visibility reduced to 1/2 mile or less. Northeast winds gusting as high as 65 mph.
* WHERE...Matanuska Valley.
* WHEN...From 6 PM Thursday to 6 PM AKST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on hazardous travel conditions due to reduced visibility in blowing snow. Snow drifts onto roads may produce hazardous travel conditions. The cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds are expected to peak around 9PM Thursday night and continue until 3PM Friday afternoon. Winds will then slowly diminish Friday evening into Saturday.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MATANUSKA VALLEY
