If you experience a power outage during the storm, ComEd encourages customers to report it via one of the following:

A major storm is in the forecast for the area from Thursday through Saturday, with snow, high winds, and extremely cold temperatures.
From the Willow Springs Public Works Department
- Crews are standing by and will begin salting/snow removal operations when the storm begins.
- To assist with the snow removal process, please do not shovel or blow snow into the street.
- Please keep fire hydrants clear of snow. It is important for the Fire and Water Departments to have easy access to all hydrants.
From the Willow Springs Police Department
- Overnight parking will not be permitted Thursday night through Friday night.
- The Community Center, located at 8156 Archer Avenue, is available for those in need of an emergency warming shelter. Anyone in need of assistance should call the non-emergency number at 708-839-2732, unless the situation dictates calling 9-1-1.
