Wind Chill Warning until 12:00PM Sunday

* WHAT...For the Wind Chill Warning, dangerously cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 35 below zero. For the first Winter Weather Advisory, freezing rain will gradually transition to rain this afternoon with an additional glaze of ice expected before changeover. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, snow with areas of blowing snow expected. A flash freeze is also expected on roadways due to rapidly falling temperatures Friday morning. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Southeast Raleigh, Southeast Fayette, Southeast Nicholas and Southeast Webster Counties.

* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, from 6 AM Friday to noon EST Sunday. For the first Winter Weather Advisory, until 1 PM EST this afternoon. For the second Winter Weather Advisory, from 1 AM Friday to midnight EST Friday night.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHEAST RALEIGH ... SOUTHEAST FAYETTE ... SOUTHEAST NICHOLAS ... SOUTHEAST WEBSTER
