Arctic Cold Blast 
After the rain and approaching winds subside, a blast of arctic air is expected to arrive over the holiday weekend. This weather system will significantly drop temperatures creating lows near 10 degrees or lower with wind chills in the single digits or below zero.
In anticipation of the approaching blast of arctic air, Matawan DPW would like to remind all residents to be sure you have disconnected all outdoor water hose bibs, irrigation systems and other outdoor water supply line valves. Thank you.
