Wind Chill Warning until 01:00PM Saturday

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation; additional snow accumulations of less than one inch and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch. For the Wind Chill Warning, dangerously cold wind chills expected; wind chills as low as 40 below zero. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow and blowing snow expected; total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, winds gusting as high as 65 mph, and visibility less than a half mile at times.

* WHERE...In Maryland, Garrett County. In West Virginia, Western Grant and Western Mineral Counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 6 PM EST this evening. For the Wind Chill Warning, from 6 AM Friday to 1 PM EST Saturday. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 6 AM to 6 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the morning and evening commutes, as well as holiday travel. Very strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines, resulting in numerous power outages. The dangerously cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For the Wind Chill Warning, the highest wind speeds will be Friday into Friday evening. Near blizzard conditions are possible. Affects from the extreme cold could be made worse due to power outages.

* AFFECTED AREAS: GARRETT ... WESTERN GRANT ... WESTERN MINERAL
