* WHAT...Dangerous wind chills, and blowing and drifting snow expected. Little to no additional snow accumulation. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST /noon CST/ this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on hazardous road conditions, especially on untreated roads and backroads. Some roads have been closed. Areas of blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility and will create drifts on north to south roads. Isolated power outages have been reported. Dangerously cold wind chills between 20 below to 35 below zero will cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
