Full Notification

On Dec 25, 2022 at approximately 12:50am, a Vigo County Jail inmate was found unresponsive in a cell. Jail medical personnel tended to the unresponsive individual. Emergency services were immediately notified and responded to the scene. The male inmate was identified as 29 year old Adam Bryant. Bryant was in a cell by himself and there were no signs indicative of foul play. The Coroner’s Office was soon notified and responded to assist in the incident. It was determined Bryant was deceased at the scene. An autopsy is being conducted to further assist in determining cause of death. This investigation is ongoing.
