INCIDENT: PC 664/487(a) Attempted Grand Theft and PC 182(A)(1) - Conspiracy to Commit a Crime
LOCATION: 13800 block of Vista Grande Drive, Chino Hills
SUSPECT(S): Luis Bidriezca, 27-year-old male resident of Los Angeles and Stephanie Loera, 29-year-old female resident of Los Angeles
VICTIM(S): Resident of Chino Hills
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at approximately 3:41 a.m., deputies from Chino Hills Station responded to a report of suspects attempting to steal a vehicle's catalytic converter near the 13800 block of Vista Grande Drive. Deputies located the vehicle in the area and initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver, later identified as Stephanie Loera, and the passenger, later identified as Luis Bidriezca, residents of Los Angeles, were detained. Deputies located evidence inside their vehicle used to steal catalytic converters.
Bidriezca and Loera were arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC 664/487(a) - Attempted Grand Theft and PC 182(A)(1) - Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
