Man Taken into Custody for Vandalism After Breaking a Window at a Restaurant
DATE/TIME: December 28, 2022, at approximately 4:29 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 594(A)(1) - Felony Vandalism
LOCATION: 221 J Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Albert Carriger, 45-years-old, Transient of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Jack in the Box Restaurant
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at approximately 4:29 a.m., deputies responded to a call for service at Jack in the Box located at 221 J Street in Needles for a report of a vandalism. During the investigation, deputies learned Albert Carriger broke a window at the location.
Carriger was arrested for PC 594(A)(1)- Felony Vandalism and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. During a records check, Carriger was also found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for CVC 23103A- Reckless Driving.
Carriger remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a combined bail amount of $50,000, pending a court hearing.
