Burglar caught in the act. 
On December 28, 2022, SVPD responded to the 200 Block of High Meadow St. for a Burglary in Progress. The homeowner, who was not home at the time, was viewing an unknown individual in his residence via his home security cameras. He continually gave SVPD Dispatch updates on the suspect's description and location within the residence. Officers arrived at the location and located Alibek Gabdel-Nagim, 28 years old, from Burbank in the side yard. Alibek was arrested for Burglary and booked at Ventura County Main Jail.
