In partnership with Keep Golden Isles Beautiful, the Jekyll Island Authority will be providing free Christmas tree disposal for residents. Christmas trees must be free of lights, ornaments, or other items and must be placed by the end of the driveway/curb no later than the evening of Tuesday, January 3rd, for early morning pickup on January 4.
Christmas trees can also be dropped off anytime through January 8 at the Jekyll Island disposal site: Tidelands Nature Center - 100 S. Riverview Drive.
Artificial Christmas trees will not be accepted.
