Wilmington Police have arrested a man on robbery charges.

On December 28 at approximately 9:31 a.m., police responded to the area of 36^th and North Madison Streets for a robbery that had occurred.  Police located a 28-year-old female robbery victim who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.  An area search was conducted for the suspect’s vehicle which was located a short time later in the 800 block of East 28^th Street.  Through investigative measures, police were able to identify 35-year-old Karl Jackson as the suspect.  Warrants were secured for Jackson who was taken into custody without incident on December 29.

Jackson was charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic violations:

• Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony
• Robbery 1^st Degree
