* At 934 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Hahnville, Laplace, Reserve, Gramercy, Lutcher, Killona, Taft, Montz, Edgard, Norco, Paradis, New Sarpy, Boutte, Destrehan, Des Allemands, Wallace, Garyville, Bayou Gauche, Luling and St. Rose. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 194 and 212...and between mile markers 215 and 221. Interstate 55 in Louisiana near mile marker 1. Interstate 310 between mile markers 1 and 11.
