If you are a resident of San Mateo and need materials for sandbags, you can go to the City of San Mateo Corporation Yard, which is located at 1949 Pacific Blvd. Sand, bags, and shovels to aid with assembly are on site.
During this storm, please stay home and avoid driving if possible. If you MUST drive, remember that if there is water on the road, the safest thing to do is to AVOID it. Never drive through standing water.
