SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN Orders “Boots On The Ground” To Protect Clayton County From Celebratory Gun Fire
What goes up must come down, and there’s nothing celebratory about firing a bullet into the air that could come down into someone’s living room. Every New Year’s Eve, men, women and children are seriously injured or killed by celebratory gunfire.
Sheriff Levon Allen stated he will place many “boots on the ground” tonight by having numerous deputies out in full force tonight to keep Clayton County safe. “If my deputies catch anyone firing a gun into the sky tonight, they will go to jail".
Fair warning, in connection with the amount of law enforcement that Sheriff Allen will have on patrol tonight, it will be wise for law-breakers to avoid Clayton County unless they wish to bring in 2023 as his guest in the Clayton County Jail.
