Update:
Please continue to avoid Lake Chabot Road due to hillside failures. The road is closed until further notice between Lake Chabot Terrace and Fairmont Drive.
SLPD advises you to AVOID using Lake Chabot Road between Estudillo Avenue and Fairmont Drive in both directions. Landslide hazards have closed Lake Chabot Road and will require a detour of traffic. Please utilize alternate routes. There is no ETA for reopening at this time.
