Press Release - Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash
Black Horse Pike & Pinehurst Avenue 
On Monday, January 2nd, 2023 at approximately 0926 hours, the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to the Black Horse Pike in the area of Pinehurst Drive for a single car motor vehicle crash.
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix being operated by James Day (70) of Mays Landing was traveling eastbound on The Black Horse Pike in the area of Pinehurst Drive. While traveling the vehicle left the roadway where it collided with numerous trees. Day suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.
Assisting at the crash scene were Hamilton Township Rescue Squad, AtlantiCare Paramedics, Mays Landing Fire Department, Laureldale Fire Department, and the State of New Jersey Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.
