Winter Weather Advisory until 06:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, additional snow accumulations 3 to 6 inches this afternoon. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected through Tuesday evening with new snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, mainly west of highway 550, with locally higher amounts up to a foot.

* WHERE...Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 6 PM MST this evening. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on icy to snowpacked road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found at: www.weather.gov/gjt/winter.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow continues beyond this evening, however heavier snowfall rates become more localized to higher elevations and lessen Tuesday through Tuesday evening.

* AFFECTED AREAS: SOUTHWEST SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS
