INCIDENT: PC 664/187 - Attempt Murder
LOCATION: 13100 Block of Havasu Lake Road, Havasu Lake, CA
SUSPECT(S): Brandon Chee, 36 Years Old, Resident of Havasu Lake, CA.
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Saturday, December 31, 2022, at approximately 10:55 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to the Havasu Lake Hotel and Casino in reference to a male who was stabbed several times in the parking lot of the location. San Bernardino County Fire Department arrived on scene to render aid to the victim. The victim was transported by boat to Havasu Regional Medical Center.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined Brandon Chee stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife. Before Chee fled the scene on foot, Chee threw the weapon into the lake. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Dive Team retrieved the knife from the lake.
Deputies later located Brandon Chee and arrested him for PC 664/187- Attempted Murder. Chee was transported to the Colorado River Station Jail for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $1,000,000.00, pending a court hearing.
