Crews have completed the final sweep of leaf collection in Zone 4. Crews are now working in Zones 1 and 2
Township leaf collection crews have completed the final sweep through all areas of Zone 4. Crews are now working on the final sweep of Zones 1 and 2. Collections in Zone 1 and 2 will continue until all streets have been completed. Once complete, crews will move into Zone 3 and then into Zone 5. The final round of collections for the remaining Zones will follow the tentative schedule below:
Zone 1: Week of 1/2/23
Zone 2: Week of 1/2/23
Zone 3: Week of 1/9/23
Zone 5: Week of 1/23/23
Due to the volume of leaves in Zone 3, collections will likely take longer to complete. However, in the event crews complete the Zone sooner, collections in the next scheduled Zone may begin sooner than scheduled above. Additionally, in the event of inclement weather or equipment breakdowns, collections may be delayed.
All leaves should be placed at the street before the scheduled collection dates. Leaves should be placed no further than ten (10) feet from the edge of the road and should not be placed around trees, utility boxes, utility poles, signs, etc. Leaf piles located further then ten (10) feet from the edge of the road or around obstacles listed above will not be collected.
Updates will be distributed as they become available. Questions about leaf collection should be directed to the Department of Neighborhood Services at 609-654-6791. We appreciate your patience as we work to get all leaves collected.
