JPD Thanks School Resource Officer Denise Stutika for Over 25 Years of Service
On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, School Resource Officer Denise Stutika will retire from the Janesville Police Department (JPD) after over 25 years of service to the City of Janesville.
School Resource Officer Stutika joined the JPD as a Patrol Officer in March 1997. Throughout her time with the department, she held many positions and assignments, including working as a Patrol Officer on first, second, and third shifts, Special Operations Unit, Bicycle Officer, Hostage Negotiator, Street Crimes Unit, Domestic Violence Intervention (DVI) Team, School Resource Officer, and she was a member of the Commendation Committee.
School Resource Officer Denise Stutika received the Problem Oriented Policing Award in 2020.
The Police Department would like to thank School Resource Officer Denise Stutika for over 25 years of dedicated service to her community, the Janesville Police Department, and the City of Janesville.
