...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of Northeast Kentucky and South Central Ohio,
  including the following counties, in Northeast Kentucky, Lewis. In
  South Central Ohio, Adams, Pike and Scioto.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over some area roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 421 PM EST, local law enforcement reported minor flooding
    in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have
    fallen, but additional heavy rain is not expected.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Portsmouth, New Boston, Piketon, Lucasville, Rosemount,
    Clarktown, Blue Creek, Beaver, Rarden, Otway, Lombardsville,
    Mcdermott, Bear Creek, Mount Joy, West Portsmouth, Ladd,
    Wakefield, Turkey Creek Lake, Wamsley and Friendship.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
