Emergency Residential Winter Parking Ordinance 501.09 in effect. Off Street Parking only until streets are cleared to full width.

501.09 PARKING DURING SNOW REMOVAL AND STREET MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS.
An emergency ordinance regulating the parking of motor vehicles and obstructions to facilitate snow removal and street maintenance operations.
Subd. 1. Emergency Residential Winter Parking. During the period from November 1 to April 1 of each year, no motor vehicle or any other obstruction shall be parked or allowed to remain on
any City street until the street is cleared to its full width when snow has accumulated to a depth of one-half inch on the roadway.
Subd. 4. Removal. The City is hereby authorized to remove or cause such obstruction, whether a vehicle or other object, to be removed. The owner shall be responsible for the actual cost of the removal in addition to any penalties which may be imposed upon conviction of any violation of this ordinance.

.The heaviest snow has ended for most locations, with periods of
light snow and patchy freezing drizzle expected this evening.
Later tonight, steady snow will develop and fill in across the
region. This steady snow should last through Wednesday night, with
an additional 2 to 5 inches expected for most location.

Meanwhile, west central Wisconsin could see some heavier snow
overnight into Wednesday morning, so have extended the Winter
Storm Warning for a few counties. Elsewhere, a Winter Weather
Advisory is in effect through Wednesday evening. Please plan on
slippery roads and allow extra time for travel.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

The band of heavy snow will continue to lift northward tonight
before stalling over north-central MN and northwest WI. Snowfall
rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour will be possible with this band of
snow. Freezing drizzle is expected across southern MN and west-
central WI through this evening. Widespread light snow will
develop overnight tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Widespread light snow will continue into Wednesday and possibly
early Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SKYWARN spotter activation will not be needed.
