1. Attempted Robbery (1230) 2700 Block of County Club Boulevard, Civic District
The female victim, 36, was in the area when the suspect attempted to steal the victim’s property. The suspect brandished a firearm and fled on foot. Officers located the suspect and arrested her without incident. Arrested: Renetha Thomas, 48, for attempted robbery.
2. Carjacking (2200) 2000 Block of S Mariposa Road, Park District
The female victims, 27 and 22, the male victim, 30, and two minor children were in their vehicle when the suspects approached them. The suspects demanded property and fled in the victim’s vehicle. Shortly after, officers located the victim’s vehicle unoccupied, and all property was recovered. Suspects: Two Hispanic males.
