Deputies Capture Four Suspects During Burglary Attempt at Local Jewelry Store

SUSPECT(S): Carlos Madrid, 21-year-old male resident of Los Angeles
Francisco Casillas, 20-year-old male resident of Los Angeles
Francisco Araiza Lopez, 22-year-old male resident of Alhambra
Luis Romero Villegas, 21-year-old male resident of Buckeye Arizona
VICTIM(S): Ozel Fine Jewelers
SUMMARY: On Friday, January 6, 2023, at approximately 3:34 a.m., deputies responded to 11400 4th Street for an audible alarm. When deputies arrived, they saw two unoccupied vehicles parked in-front of the business with the engines running. Deputies observed four suspects inside the store with flashlights. When the suspects exited the store, they attempted to run away. One suspect ran and threw a loaded handgun.
All four suspects were taken into custody and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC 459 - Commercial Burglary. Jewelry and cash belonging to Ozel Fine Jewelers was recovered and returned.
