Please avoid Silva’s Crossing and the Christmas Hill Park area due to high flood waters and dangerous conditions.

The following roads are closed or experiencing flooding:

• 101 South of Monterey Road: NB – one lane is open, all SB lanes are closed. Closure anticipated through at least 6:00 PM tonight. For updates, visit https://roads.dot.ca.gov/roadscell.php
• Castro Valley Road
• Mesa Road
• Miller Avenue at Silva’s Crossing

The following roads are now open to traffic:

• Bolsa Road: Traffic is backed up and slow
• Wren Avenue
• Mantelli Road
• Burchell Road

Don’t underestimate the force and power of water. It is NEVER safe to drive or walk into flood waters. Please avoid flooded areas and find alternate routes.

City staff and emergency personnel are continuing to monitor the situation and are working in coordination with Santa Clara County and Santa Clara Valley Water District as the storm progresses.
