The Green Bay Police Department has promoted two individuals with ranks of Lieutenant and Sergeant, following approval from the Police and Fire Commission.
- Sergeant Kris Thoreson promoted to Lieutenant
- 9 Years of Service with the Green Bay Police Department
- Officer Riley Peterson promoted to Sergeant
- 9 Years of Service with the Green Bay Police Department
“The Green Bay Police Department is made up of many well-qualified current and future leaders. The selection process for promotions is never an easy one as so many individuals who apply are qualified for promotions to high levels of responsibility. Please join me in congratulating these two members of the GBPD on their new positions,” said Chief Chris Davis, Green Bay Police Department.
A promotional ceremony was held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at the Green Bay Police Department.
