OWI 10th Offense – Daniel Gerblick

On 01/10/22, at 9:10 AM, Janesville officers were sent to an intoxicated subject complaint in the 1400 block of Hamilton Ave. The caller indicated that her boyfriend was intoxicated and leaving in his gray Toyota Camry.
 
Officers responding to the complaint located the described vehicle pulling into the parking lot of J&R Liquor on Memorial Dr. Upon initiating a traffic stop, and making contact with the driver, the officers observed behaviors that indicated the driver may be impaired. Daniel complied with standardized field sobriety tests and subsequently was arrested for operating while intoxicated (10^th offense). A legal blood draw was taken from Daniel. The results are pending.
 
Daniel had a suspended driver license through Wisconsin for alcohol related offenses and showed nine prior OWI convictions. He was also cited for Operating After Suspension and Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle.
