A shooting occurred in Pocatello around 10:30 pm on 1/11/23, at a residence in the 400 block of West Griffith. A male was wounded during the incident and fled the scene on foot, but he was located minutes later in the 900 block of McKinley Avenue. Pocatello Emergency Services Personnel transported the male via ambulance to the Portneuf Medical Center, but he was subsequently transported to a hospital in the Salt Lake City area. The male is expected to survive the injuries he sustained during the incident.
