The Union County Sheriff's Office is investigating an apparent swatting incident near the intersection of Dogwood Drive and Beachwood Way in Jerome Township. A prank caller reported that he had shot a family member. Multiple deputies responded to the area and have determined there is no threat to public safety at this time. Investigators are attempting to identify where the call came from and who is involved.
