Wilmington Police arrest man on drug charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On January 8 at approximately 9:50 p.m., police conducted a vehicle stop in the 600 block of North Walnut Street. Police made contact with an occupant, 45-year-old Lamarr McElderry and following a brief investigation, recovered 24 grams of cocaine and $385 in currency. Police took McElderry into custody without incident.
McElderry was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 2 Quantity.
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 20 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $5,000 secured bail.
