Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Mana`o Akamai Ka`aihue, of Hilo, who was reported as a runaway.
Ka`aihue was last seen in the 300 block of Mahi Ko Place, in Hilo, on the night of Thursday, January 12, 2023.
He is described to be Polynesian with a medium complexion, thin build, being 6-feet tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black Nike shoes, black shorts, with a silver Figaro style chain, and carrying a bright yellow Garfield backpack.
