Police Seek the Public’s Help in Locating Home Invasion Suspect Vehicle
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé requests the public’s help in locating the below-pictured suspect vehicle in connection with a home invasion that occurred today, Saturday, January 14, 2023.
At approximately 5 a.m., the suspect vehicle, described as a white Land Rover with a black top, parked in the 300 block of Lyons Avenue. One male suspect exited the vehicle while another male remained inside the vehicle. The male who exited possibly forced his way into a residence before also entering two separate apartments. Upon becoming aware of the presence of a resident inside one of the rooms, the suspect fled, returning to the Land Rover and heading southbound on Leslie Street.
