The Lakeport Police Department was called to the scene of a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision on 1-14-2023 at 5:52 pm. The suspect and their vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival. The elderly female victim, who was conscious and alert at the scene, was transported to Sutter-Lakeside Hospital where she is expected to recover. The only witnesses at the scene points law enforcement to a Silver colored larger SUV vehicle which was scene driving northbound on N. Main Street in that area at the time of the collision.
