Rock County Law Enforcement agencies will be participating in Active Threat training on 01/16/23. Instructors from the Janesville Police Department will be hosting the training for participating police officers and deputies from surrounding Rock County jurisdictions.
Law enforcement agencies have partnered with Blackhawk Technical College to utilize a portion of their main campus, located at 6004 S. County Rd. G, for the training.
The training will focus on a Law Enforcement response to an active threat/active shooter type incident.
