Message From Calaveras County OES
The Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services provided the following public information message.
On Sunday, January 15, 2023, the Calaveras Health and Human Services Agency deactivated the emergency shelter located at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds. The emergency shelter will remain on standby. Evacuees from last night’s flooding were provided with alternative accommodations. The emergency shelter will be reactivated if the need arises. Any individual who is displaced due to recent winter storms is encouraged to call the Winter Storm Call Center at (209) 754-2855.
