On 1-15-2023 at about 10 am, Lakeport Police arrested Al James, a 63 year old resident of Lakeport originally from the State of Texas, for Felony Hit-and-Run. James was booked into the Lake County Jail on that charge with a $10,000 bail. The pedestrian was transported by Air Ambulance to an out-of-county hospital where she is recovering.
