NARRATIVE:
At approximately 10:00 PM, a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy suffered a medical emergency while driving eastbound on West Carson Street, in unincorporated Torrance, and was involved in a single vehicle traffic collision. No other vehicles or persons were involved.
The deputy was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
