________________________________________________________Tonight at approximately 7:18 pm., Newport Beach Police Officers responded to a call of a Residential Burglary in progress in the area of Pelican Point Drive and Shoreline. The suspects fled from the home; however, officers set up a quick perimeter and took two suspects into custody. The law enforcement helicopter (Duke) and drones are on scene assisting with the incident.
We ask that you continue to shelter in place until notified. If you see something suspicious, please call 911. If you find property in your yard or surrounding areas, please notify the police department.
