January 13, 2023:
- Officer Mulder was dispatched to the 1600 block of Homewild Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 50-year-old male was transported to the hospital. Domestic assault charges will be requested on the 50-year-old male.
- Officer Goings responded to the Eaton County Jail for a warrant pick-up. A 36-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers responded to the 500 block of Union Street for a weapons complaint. A discarded firearm was located in the area.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Allison and Officer Bean conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Greenwood Avenue. A 47-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to Second Street and West Biddle Street for shots fired. A vehicle was struck by a bullet. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officers responded to the area of South Grinnell Street and West Franklin Street for shots fired. Several spent casings were located on scene.
- Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Foote Street for a domestic dispute. A 49-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers responded to the 700 block of North State Street for a domestic assault report. The 21-year-old male suspect was unable to be located.
- Officers assisted the Parole Department with parole checks.
- Officer Davis responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for an overdose. A 62-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Mulder was dispatched to the 300 block of Moorman Drive for a domestic dispute. The 26-year-old male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival, and was unable to be located.
- Officer Elston located the domestic assault suspect from the 700 block of North State Street. The 21-year-old male was arrested for felonious assault, and domestic assault.
- Officers responded to the 800 block of North Waterloo Avenue for a car versus house accident. There were no reported injuries.
- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Gilbert Street for a domestic dispute. A 30-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of East Wilkins Street for a stolen vehicle that had been located. The vehicle was returned to the owner.
- Officer Mulder responded to the 400 block of Madison Street for a domestic dispute. A 19-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault, 2nd offense.
- Officer Baker was dispatched to the 700 block of Griswold Street for an unknown subject on the porch of a residence. The 45-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Goings responded to the 300 block of West Trail Street for a warrant pick-up. A 46-year-old male was arrested for multiple outstanding felony warrants.
- Officer Elston was dispatched to the 500 block of Lansing Avenue for a domestic situation. A 33-year-old male was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants.
- Officer Thoresen conducted a traffic stop in the area of West Washington Avenue and South Blackstone Street. The 35-year-old male driver had an outstanding felony warrant out of Lenawee County. The driver was turned over to deputies from Lenawee County to be lodged on his warrant.
- Officer Baker responded to the 700 block of West Michigan Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 42-year-old male was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Schram conducted a traffic stop near East High Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The 68-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated; resisting and obstructing; and assault on a police officer.
- Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop at South Brown Street and West Franklin Street. The 35-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and felon in possession of ammunition.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of North West Avenue for a vehicle that had just been stolen. The vehicle was located unoccupied in the 200 block of South Jackson Street. The vehicle was returned to the owner.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of East High Street for a domestic situation. The 28-year-old male suspect was unable to be located.
