Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in the Hazel Farms Road area of Lady's Island; expect increased law enforcement presence 
The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a shooting that occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m. today, January 17, 2023, on Hazel Farms Road on Lady's Island.
An adult male sustained a single gunshot wound to his leg and is being treated at a local hospital.
Residents and motorists should expect an increased law enforcement presence in the area as Investigators process the crime scene and collect evidence.
