My Dear Neighbors & Friends:
On Friday, January 20, 2023, I did a Grand Opening of a new business in Waldwick with Councilwoman Katie Cericola and Municipal Clerk Kelley Halewicz. While I was there, I met a long-time resident of Waldwick Sharon Quan.
Sharon told me about her many happy years here in Waldwick. She also told me that January 22, 2023 is the Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit.
The rabbit is a symbol of longevity, peace and prosperity in the Chinese culture and 2023 is the year of hope.
To all our Chinese residents may your life be free of worry and fear. May this year bring you and your family hope, new experiences, new smiles and new success.
