On Saturday, January 21, 2023 at approximately 0015 hours, the Readington Township Police observed Andrew Gamble out of Whitehouse Station driving erratically. Gamble was stopped on Tavern Ln. in Lake Cushetunk and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanated from the interior of his vehicle. Gamble failed the officers field sobriety tests and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Gamble was issued a motor vehicle summons for DWI, Refusal to Submit Breath Test, Careless Driving, Failure to Stop and Failure to use Turn Signal. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
